Vallcarca, a neighborhood up in the foothills behind Barcelona, and not far from Park Güell, has, in the past, been the target of “development” by folks with deep pockets and not necessarily the purest of intentions (Núñez y Navarro, is one infamous example). So what has been the reaction to this conflict of the people who live and work there?
