Montseny, a mountain some 90 minutes by car from Barcelona that rises to to 1,706 meters (5,597 feet) above the sea, which is but a stone’s throw away (about 25 kilometers or 15 miles, as the seagull flies)… a good choice for a quick escape from the August lowland heat…
