Many of our friends are (or were) Trump supporters. I can understand the frustration our friends felt with the political process back in 2016 and I can sympathize with their desire to look for an alternative to get the country moving forward, after all, I felt that same frustration. Many thought that perhaps this New York billionaire could be the answer, so they took a chance and ticked the box for Trump-Pence.
Unfortunately, this particular Emperor turned out to have no clothes and it’s time Trumpsters get humble and recognize that fact. We definitely need a strong conservative party to balance out the Democratic party in our politics–a healthy friction, in my opinion. But what we definitely DO NOT need, is a corrupt, autocratic, and incompetent “Trump Party”.
It’s time for him and his enablers to go.
