My mom had a Brownie and I made my first time exposure with it. The other gray button other than the shutter button could be raised up and while the button was up, the shutter would stay open as long as I held it down.
Gary, thanks for visiting! Yep, I wonder how many people these days (under the age of 40 or 50, anyway) can remember this camera? Amazingly simple machine. There are still some artists who use it because they like the effect it gives to the final print.
