Scatalogical Avoidance Syndrome
Oh, we never really talk about it, do we, but it is sooo much a part of our lives–this pooping and peeing thing. No matter whether you are Putin, Trump, Mother Teresa, Ghandi, or the homeless man on the street corner, excrement is a biological fact of life, from the time we shit in our first diaper in the crib until the time we shit in our last diaper in hospice (ah, the circle of Life).
Sorry to be so blunt.
Maybe we don’t like to think about these things because it reminds us of how little difference there is between us and the apes, or even dogs, cats, and lizards.
In honor of this miraculous biological function, I will collect here a sort of “Tour de Caca Portfolio“. Don’t worry, though. There will be no images of actual excrement. I will, instead, try to search out rather pleasant photographs of the most enchanting places of scatalogical repose here in Catalunya.
Enjoy! (And feel free to peruse as you sit on your own comfy home toilet.)
