Our Human Distortions

There might be a number of interpretations here with these three images…these very distorted billboard images.

–Maybe they speak to how certain choices in life cause us to distort our personalities, or our internal moral/ethical values?

–Maybe they speak directly to the #MeToo Movement? (Counterpoint to my Ghost Women series?)

–Maybe they speak to how we distort ourselves to “fit in” to society in general, or “fit in” with our circle of friends?

–Maybe they speak to how the decades of life, with its inexorable pressures, distorts and modifies who we once were as diapered innocents in the cradle?

–Maybe they speak to how politicians distort themselves whilst trying to maintain a “logical” party line, or whilst trying to say the “right” things to get elected, or whilst trying to explain the indefensible? (These pictures came from political billboard ads, after all.)

Or maybe they speak to something else?
