Yes, I much prefer monochrome, but…
…despite what is quoted above, sometimes I think a photograph does indeed work better in color. Better? Well, at least “differently”.
To that end, I offer up a selection of recent post-heavy rain images from the Rupit-Tavertet area of Catalunya. In some cases, you may have seen the monochrome version in a previous blog post.
Which is “better”? Well, that’s up to you.
I will admit that I really don’t have a good handle on working on color in post. I seem to end up with too much of an unwanted tint… reddish occasionally, blue-ish sometimes, or too much green.
Progress, not perfection, right?
