The location this time? In and around the little-but-bustling burg of Dacono, Colorado, just west of I-25…on the plains, but with great views to the west of the big Front Range peaks.
You can find Dacono in the southwest corner of Weld County, near Frederick, Colorado, and in an area of the state that tends to prioritize economic growth, “development” and jobs (oil and gas is great!) over things like environmental issues, parks, and open space. In my mind, with a bit of creative thought, these things need not be mutually exclusive…but it is what it is out here on the prairie.
