…and the hue and cry if such a store were to appear somewhere in America–especially conservative America. Unfortunately, it is exactly what is needed.
Does it really make any sense at all to anyone that our world-wide human population should keep growing? Does this border on insanity, or what?
Our resources are finite. Do we expect all 7 billion of us to each have our own houses, cars, washing machines, cell phones, computers, oak furniture, and espresso machines? Just where will all the ingredients for these things come from?
Spaceship Earth is getting sucked dry of lumber, groundwater, oil, fresh air, the rare minerals we use in electronics, fish, apex predators, and so on…We are shitting in our own nest.
Unfortunately I am part of the problem. You are part of the problem. What to do, what to do…?
