Sometimes the best night photography happens before the actual dark black of night, when the light of the day-just-past is still hanging in the sky. You may not see how spectacular it is with the naked eye, but the camera will pick it up.
In the following series of photographs of the Olympic Communications Tower, note how the color of the sky changes to darker tones as the light fades…and, in the last image, as a few clouds move in.
The complimentary colors of orange-yellow and blue are quite eyeball-catching.
